The passenger may lean against the wall and take a sleep. If the person is on the aisle seat, he can stretch his legs and then may take a sleep.

The choice of the aisle and the window seat totally depends upon the personal comfort level and suitability of the passengers. If the passengers feel suffocation or are nervous flyers, they may change the seats according to their suitability for the aircraft seat whether aisle or the window seat.

The middle seats are generally empty because the passengers hardly prefer the middle seats. However, the choice of the aircraft seat totally depends upon the preferences of the people sitting there.
